Homeschool STEAM Pre-Sign Up

I have had some people request starting 1 more Homeschool STEAM class and created this page to gather interest. I will need at least 3 children signed up to run the class, for this reason I have set up this sign up page. Please select the day and time that you are interested in, if we get enough interest I will email you with an invoice asking for payment. Both class options Thursday 11am-12:30pm and Friday 1-2:30pm will be at Bel Air Sports Cards. 

Our Homeschool class is a favorite! This year we are extending the fun making it a 90minute class. Each class will include a Coding Challenge, recess time (to play tag and other gross motor games), an Engineering Challenge, and either feature a Science Experiment, Art Project, or Math Adventure. 

Our coding challenge will vary each week. We will use robots from Sphero- Indi and Mini, LittleBits (coding circuits), and Dash from Wonder Workshop.

Engineering Challenge: using KEVA planks, magnet blocks, and LEGOs

Science Experiments: Examples would be making bath bombs or slime, exploring baking soda and vinegar reactions. 

Art: variety of process art and using art with science. A favorite from last year was decorating craft pumpkins and making habitats (art plus science). 

Math: Measurement, especially with coding, math games, measuring, and more!

Ages: 5-10 years of age (Kindergarten through fifth grade), independents class.  Older children are welcome to sign up. Both days will be held at Bel Air Sports Cards 1401 Conowingo Rd Unit C, Bel Air, Md, 21014

$200/child for a 10 week session, $180/sibling
